S:  woke up early... so up and having a cup of joe...

good morning...

and reading the bible was in store as the sun came up today...
Matthew 6 & 7
I really am loving reading Matthew... so many things that are 'common' in church come from here... I could recite Matthew 6:9-13 since I've said it each Sunday since I could remember and it really makes me remember that God is in control and will ALWAYS provide.
P:  as soon as I saw light I was out the door to run a 5k... not the fastest, but it was freezing... and I now know I can still be sweating up a storm even in the cold cold weather.
C: assembled a bunch of the new stamps I got from my Stampin Up! party today... oh the creative juices were flowing... but I didn't create much today... I instead went to a few friends/ neighbors/ basically family but technically not and VISITED.  yes, today I visited a bunch of people I haven't seen in a while. I nurished the friendships I have, and am so thankful for them.  they restore me, they inspire me, visiting is a favorite thing of mine. no agenda, no time lines, no subject untouchable, just time well spent.  Then ended up back home for a night of family time with the folks and sister and baking chocolate chip cookies and watching "the social network".... I have to say, I totally loved the movie...  it is so a part of my history...

2010 album...

in 2010... I decided to download the 365 app for my iPhone and tried to do a photo a day...
I fo' sho' missed a few, but it was a good attempt to document my everyday life...
so here is the album I completed of 2010... its an 8.5 x 8.5... most have interactive features but I didn't take the time to photograph those... and all of them have part of a group of my day by day photos...

we are experiencing amazing weather right now... all my windows and doors were open yesterday to welcome in this...

P:  nothing physical today... a day of rest.  I had another 1/2 day at work and thought I'd use it to my full advantage... crafting with my southern twin was in store...

C:  oh man was it a creative day... made a few things... and taught a few things... finished my 2010 album... working on my 30 x 30 list of already completed tasks... and made a new scrap cover for my sisters Starbucks travel mug...

and told Krisi all about Project life... got her this one as a belated birthday gift... and taught her all about scrapbooking... and I love that she loves it and that she wants to use lots of glitter!   we did take a quick break to go eat at their restaurant Pinocchios with her sweet husband...

then back to finish a few more scraptastic pages....

and to think the weekend holds all sorts of time for creativity...

S: Matthew 4

P: Body Pump... I'm getting into my groove in there... knowing when to add weights, when to push myself... tonight it was on the lunges and push-ups...  it feels good to pump some iron.

C:   so I thought it was finally time to do a little valentines walk through... so welcome...

it was overall a great day... very productive... got lots of coaching stuff done (ahh- I think my new motto might be- I had a life, then I became a coach)... had lunch with a great friend, and did some retail therapy... always refreshing to be with someone who 'gets' you.

S: Matthew 2 & 3
P:  housework.  that should be enough.  first of all I have awful carpet.  I mean carpet that is brand new, but clogs my vacuum in about 2 feet worth of vacuuming space... yeah annoyance is correct... so I borrowed my dad's shop vac and now its my...

 It also got clogged a few times but not nearly as much as my other vacuum.   and someone should have warned me that vacuuming my whole house would take a whole afternoon. I also was able to vacuum out my car. go me.

then I looked at my front porch and got more fun 'mail'

C:  here is my finished camera strap...

shooting it up in s-t-y-l-e

'capture life' is what it says.  used the easiest new technique.  find a font I like. type saying in it. print it out. pin it to the fabric. use back-stitch to embroider it. carefully peal/ cut/ remove paper from stitched work. and ta-da evenly spaced and looking like a pro personalized camera strap.

S:  New book Matthew 1 

P:  Body pump today... I upped the weights for everything except my 'warm-up' and the bicep track... and I actually feel like I got a workout... what a concept... try a little harder and you may get something from it... and let me tell you about the sunset that I saw out the gym window... it was like a perfect rainbow, each color fading to the next... awe... wish I had my camera...

C:  redecoration... lets just say I love pillows (Ross had pillows for like 1.49...), I bought some things for my 'summer bedroom' restyle (think mustard, gray, and white)...  and finally caved into my mother saying 'you need a big picture over your fireplace'... well that 'big picture' was purchased today... and I love it...

color...

it has the purple I wanted, with some white, some red, some kelly green, some yellow, some orange... I do believe it will do... mom's and their rightness...

S: Gen 46-50... lots of people in this book... can only imagine where they will all take part in the rest of the Bible.

P:  5 miler today... and brought Squirt along for the run... she made it!  I took some time off of my last one... which is always exciting... next goal is sub 1 hour... then its on to a 10K (6.2 miles).

C:  tried something new... my mom's rice pudding (well actually Paula Dean's rice pudding)

I am Swedish, I am Swedish, I am Swedish... (I'm really trying)

it wasn't as 'dessert-like' as I would have hoped... but I can't say it was bad... but I can't say I'll be craving it either...

Can I just say I love good mail days... I received a wedding invitation, a package of scrapbooking supplies, and a box of swim suits (boys)... um love. love. love.

S:  Church  Gal 2:1-10... continues on about Grace.

P:  went on a 3.3 mile run around my house.  almost the same run Squirt and I did a few Sunday's back... but with an extra extension to make it at least 3.1miles... aka a 5K.   It was Evie's first 5K and...

I killed her...

just joking...

sweetness

although she did throw up at the end... she did a FANTASTIC job... and she learned to not eat pizza 10 minutes before you run... and I am so incredibly proud of her... especially for never before running more than 2 miles... she is a powerhouse... love you Evie Lee.

C:  had a little mission today... it was to clean my car... um... didn't happen because I was busy making things and hanging out with my sisters... but I did make another felt wreath for my door... will take photos later... and I started on a new camera strap this is pretty darn cute... photos of that later as well...

S: Gen 43-44

P:  went to bodypump at the gym... 55 minutes of low weight, high reps... feel the burn

C:  put out all my valentines stuff... (its not a whole lot but I love what I do have!) and then organized the garage... aka threw out a lot of paperwork.  It is SO hard for me to toss school work... because I have WORKED so hard for all that... I took some pretty great notes, drew so pretty awesome doodles, and had lots of organized thoughts... oh man was I on top of it... what I lack in smarts I sure made up for it in trying my hardest.  I filled up 5 boxes of now empty binders... and my HUGE recycle bin of my past work...

years and years and years of school work

 but now I can get to my graduate notes/books/binders/doodles/etc...

the important stuff remains

overall it feels good. Out with the old, in with NEW!

P: 

with whip.

 yep coffee wasn't going to happen at home today... so day-o it was... and they put whip cream on it... i have a few whip cream rules....
1. I 99% of the time don't like it.
2. Unless its the first time I try a drink at somewhere new... then its a must
3. It makes it feel fancy... so Friday you just became fancy

never thought I would miss going to the gym... but I do... and I did... I even had my gym clothes on... but they closed at 9.... dang!  I need to invest in a few workout videos for moments like this... good news is Evie & I have a gym date at 8:40 tomorrow morning for Body Pump...

C:  so one thing I love is the sky... especially on my drive home from work... especially on a Friday... I may just do a whole book on my sky shots one day... I take one almost daily...  there is just something magical in the air at that time...

C: host a few ladies for a Stampin' Up! party... what a great time we had...

P:  walked a ton (while shopping that is) and my eye sight... still the same... boo-ya!

C:  so it was lots of photos today...

    I had a break at work... so I went to starbucks... and got a new name...

then it was a trip to the eye doctor in Turlock....
 love that my vision stayed the same!  but new glasses were in desperate need! 3 years is too long for the same design... so lets just say...

then a stop at Target... and found this ADORABLE shirt... didn't buy it... bought another cute one instead for 3.47... heck ya.
